Day 01: Bhubaneswar • We will start the tour as soon as your arrival at Bhubaneswar airport. Transfer to the hotel. Later if time permits, half day sightseeing of famous Dhauli Hill, Lingaraj, Parshurameswar, Mukteswar (known as the ‘gem of Orissa architecture’) & Rajarani. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar. Day 02: Lalitgiri – Ratnagiri – Udayagiri • After breakfast drive to the diamond triangle of Orissa – Ratnagiri (has a rich concentration of Buddhist antiquities), Lalitgiri (oldest Buddhist center of Orissa) & Udayagiri (largest Buddhist complexes in Orissa). Overnight stay in a decent hotel at Ratnagiri. Day 03: Konark – Puri • Morning after breakfast drive to Puri en-route visit Dhauli hill, an important place for Buddhism. Visit the monastery, peace pagoda and Ashokan inscriptions and drive further Pipili the applique work village & Konark Sun temple. Day 04: Puri • Morning after breakfast visit to Jagannath temple (non-Hindus are not allowed). Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight stay at Puri. Day 05: Chandragiri • After breakfast drive to Chandragiri (situated in between the lush green forest – a unique destination for the Buddhist. meet Buddhist lama and attend their ritual in the monastery. Overnight stay in the tourist bungalow amidst the nature. Day 06: Bhubaneswar • Morning drive back to Bhubaneswar en-route visit jaugad Buddhist antiquity, taratareni shakti peeth late afternoon arrival in Bhubaneswar, if time permit enjoy the light and sound show at Dhauli hill. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar. Day 07: Departure Transfer • Morning transfer to airport / railway station for onwards journey.
